Collection: Machine Cut Edge Sandstone, Slate and Limestone

Add to the beauty of natural stone paving with machine-cut edging. This process clashes the ancient riven and rustic surface of the stone together with the clean smooth cut edges of modernity. The result is a truly beautiful contrast that only enhances the stone further.

Premium machine cut edge sandstone, slate and limestone at low prices

Machine cut paving is the stand-out popular choice for patios, courtyards, gardens and other exterior landscapes today. Machine cut stone is treated on every surface from the top to the bottom and the sides. This process gives even rugged natural-looking and riven stone a smooth look and feel to it.

If you want to enjoy the look of gorgeous natural stone, but with a surface and smoothness that is unchanging in form or character, then you’ll love machine cut paving.

Find out more about our machine cut paving:

  • Machine-cut limestone — From stunning Kota black to Tandur yellow, these colours enhance any living space both indoors and outdoors.

  • Machine-cut sandstone — With colours ranging from mint fossil and Raj green to camel dust and Kandla grey. There’s something here for everyone.

  • Machine-cut slate — Gorgeous black and grey Brazilian slate with all of the colours’ natural tonal variations. Only perfectly smooth and precisely cut.

What are machine cut slabs?

Chunks of stone cut into slabs by a hot-rolling blade machine. The edge of the rolling blade produces a very consistent smooth edge on the stone. These smooth precise edges give the stone harmonious clean lines — making the process of laying the paving stone easier.

This machine-cut edging process is very precise and allows for many different sizes of paving to be cut very accurately and smoothly. Right down to the measurements our customers want.

Delivered to private and commercial customers, big and small

Machine cut edge sandstone and limestone is the first stage of sawn paving, which can then go on to be smoothed and honed and shotblasted or even granite flamed. For the opposite effect of machine cut, check out our hand spit paving category page.
